My Story
I originally joined Scentsy because I loved the product, and it made my house smell outstanding. I could leave warmers on all day if I liked. It was a business that I truly believed in and wanted to be a part of. I saw Scentsy as my route back into the corporate world.
Since having to quit working for the hospital as an office manager, I felt a need to accomplish tasks. Often times, as a stay at home mom (even adding other's kiddos to supplement income) I was missing the sense of accomplishment I once had. Sure, I kept the kids alive for the day. The house may or may not be cleaned, dinner might be great and it might not depending upon the day. But I felt like everyday was the same and I really missed having a “work family”. Other adults to share my wins and losses with. Communication and opportunities to help out others. A checklist of tasks for each day, with at least a few of those items with check marks beside them at the end of the day. That is what makes me feel successful. The opportunity to cheer others, besides children, on in their accomplishments and for them to give me the atta girl as well. A team, a tribe of others rooting each other on each and everyday. People that pull the best from you, and in turn you are able to pull strengths out of them they didn't know they had. This is what being a party of the Scentsy family has given me.
So far I have been able to work my Scentsy business during nap time, after my children have gone to bed for the night, and have thrown in some occasional weekend afternoons. Going forward I am excited to travel on Scentsy's dime. I am excited for the opportunity to earn trips, by being excellent at my job. How many other jobs do you know that offer these incentives for going above and beyond in your job?
If any of this sounds like something you'd liked to experience, I hope you will consider joining my team, my tribe, and we can share each others joys.
